Due to unforeseen circumstance the Heart 2 Heart Positive Parenting Group will hold its FINAL group on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 from 10-11am.

Positive Parenting Groups are ongoing educational support groups. The groups meet weekly, with the exception of holidays. These groups are best suited for parents who need more flexibility with scheduling. There are several classes to choose from including a class for parents of teenagers.

The Exchange Club Family Skills Center offers Positive Parenting Groups that are open to ALL parents wanting to learn more about parenting and a positive way of discipline in order to build healthy relationships with their children.

Each parenting class meets weekly throughout the year and offers both education and support. Group facilitators will provide information that is useful in helping parents work toward improving their parenting skills. Each participant MUST attend 15 classes within 6 months to receive a Certificate of Completion.

Classes are offered to parents with children ages 0 - 17. There is no charge for these classes and childcare is provided upon REQUEST at least one week in advance. Effective April 16, 2009, no credit will be given for duplicate class topics.
